The Summer Book Club

If you are starting a list of books to read on vacation this year, put The Summer Book Club by Susan Mallery at the top of the list. 

​

Long-time friends Laurel and Paris are the only members of their book club who continue to read and discuss books during the summer, so they are excited to add new-to-town Cassie to the discussion.  (The books they discuss are real titles of romance novels from the 1980s). 

​

Each woman is dealing with worries about family and business and overcoming personal issues.  Each has been disappointed in love and are currently unattached.  As in most Mallery books, the value of friendship and the excitement of romance are the main topics. 

​

Throw in cute kids and a dog and lots of humor and you have a perfect beach read.
