Get a Library Card

How Do I Get a Library Card?

  • You must be a resident of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
  • Adults will be asked to show proof of current Lawrence County mailing address and a photo ID.
  • A child may apply for a card when able to legibly print their full name on the application card.
  • Children under the age of 14 will be required to have a parent or legal guardian present to co-sign the application.
  • You may check out two items on the day the application is completed.
  • You will receive your card within minutes!

Your first library card is free, but a fee is charged for replacement of lost cards. You must present your library card each time you check an item out of the library, including computer usage.
